Twice a month we set the long table for eighteen members who have never all been in the same room. There is no topic, no host presentation and no goal beyond the conversation itself. Seating is deliberate: we place you next to someone whose work you probably don’t understand yet.

Dinner runs to four courses from the open kitchen, with wine chosen by the room rather than a list. Phones sleep in the cloakroom. Whatever is said at the table stays at the table; whatever is started at the table tends not to.

Practical notes

Doors at 7:15 PM for a drink at the bar. We sit at 7:30 sharp. Dietary requirements are handled at application — tell us once and every dinner after just works.
