Privacy policy.

The short version: we collect very little, we sell nothing, and what’s said at the table stays at the table.

01 — What we collect

We collect what you give us and little else: your name and contact details when you apply, your answers to the application questions, and a record of events you attend so we can seat you next to better strangers. We do not buy data about you, and we do not sell data about you — to anyone, ever.

02 — Applications

Applications are read by the membership team and one current member. If you join, your answers become the seed of your directory entry, which you control. If you don’t, we delete your application after six months, along with any notes made about it.

03 — The directory

Members choose exactly what appears in the directory — inside the club and on this site. Numbers, cities and current projects are published with permission; everything else stays in the room. You can change or remove your entry at any time by emailing membership.

04 — Cookies and analytics

This site uses privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no pixels reporting to social networks. The one cookie we set remembers that you closed the cookie notice.

05 — Your rights

You can ask for a copy of everything we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and we will do it within thirty days without making it strange. UK GDPR applies; the ICO is the supervising authority if you ever feel we’ve fallen short.
